Due to work reasons, I went to Guocheng, also known as Xinbaizi, a town north of Huining, which is quite close to my home. Guocheng has developed quite well in the past two years; the roads feel wider than those in the county town. Today, I went to the Education Garden in Guocheng, a newly built community located in the alley of Huafeng Middle School, remembering the Education Garden in Huining Guocheng.
I remember when I was in school, I had never seen a community like this in the countryside; I only saw them on TV. Now, with development, most of them are built like this. To enter one of the buildings in the Education Garden, the entrance door was locked, so I went to the property management center at the entrance to ask them to open the door. An elderly man inside spoke to me in Mandarin, and it was clear he was from outside the area. During the process of getting the key, he chatted with me a lot, saying that the doors are usually locked by the cleaning staff because sometimes after cleaning, someone might run up and they would have to clean again. He also mentioned that he generally doesn’t communicate with the cleaning staff because they belong to different positions and have no interaction. While saying this, he made a call to the cleaning staff, and I smiled but didn’t say anything.
The Education Garden has seven buildings, with some still under construction. It’s quite spacious inside, all nine stories high. The property management uncle said the housing prices are over three thousand, and after hearing that, I thought it was quite cheap. Then I thought, this is in the countryside, so I decided not to think about it anymore, remembering the Education Garden in Huining Guocheng.
After finishing my business, I returned to Baiyin...
